About L. Nicole Taylor

Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Nicole always had an immense love of books, television and film. She began writing creatively at an early age and pursued her passions by studying film production at Full Sail University. 
 
Working in feature films and episodic content in both Detroit and Los Angeles, she contributed to the productions of many projects including “Red & Blue Marbles” featuring Tessa Thompson & Ruby Dee, “Talons,” starring Michael Madsen, “Good Grief” with Rachel True, and “Diary of a Champion” starring Claudia Jordan and Annie Ilonzeh.

She has transitioned from writing television and movie scripts to novels and short stories. Her debut collection of Sci-fi/Fantasy stories was released in the Spring of 2024. She has been hard at work on a second collection of shorts as well a her fantasy trilogy featuring the novels “Pureland," "A Better World," and "Charnel Grounds."
